Why Ark? (flyers nerfed)

Just when the dino nerf was irritating enough they nerf your flyers speed even making it so you can't level their speed up anymore. I understand for PVP but can't they do something for PVE players like seriously XD

To be honest I find all the rage and salt on all the other forums incredibly entertaining. But then, I spend most of my time on terrestrial mounts anyway; birds were just a convenience, and they're still usable. You just can't sprint everywhere and expect to clear the entire map in less than a minute, which I think is fair.
I still managed to safely transport 2 wild equus with my quetz, I just didn't sprint so it took a long time. You trade speed for safety, which is how it should be.
Plus now there's more of a reason to use non-quetz platform saddles, and break out those spike walls for taming again.
